Animal Medical Centre North is a fast-paced practice that treats small animals and exotics in Grande Prairie, AB. We believe in a high standard for medicine and are well equipped, with a digital dental x-ray machine and many diagnostics/blood work equipment. We are a dynamic hospital with a great and supportive team that features a mentorship program to train new graduates.
Our practice is conveniently located in the city centre, close to the Prairie Mall Shopping Centre. Grande Prairie is situated in northwestern Alberta and has a population of approximately 60,000. It is home to various arts and recreational facilities such as the Grande Prairie Live Theatre, Art Gallery of Grande Prairie and Revolution Place, which has welcomed world-class talent like Elton John and Rihanna on its stage.
Fun fact: Our city has been referred to as Swan City, because of how close we are to the birds’ nesting grounds and migration route. The swan is now Grande Prairie’s official symbol.
